I have done a LOT of stories involving gender changes and transformations, and that has led to some, who live with transgender issues every day, to criticize my handling of the issue.  In fairness, much of what I write is fantasy, and, thus, is not intended to reflect the real struggles trans people face.  In doing this story, I wanted to look at the reality of living with this other person that lives inside, and I hope I have portrayed it with more delicacy than some of my other work.  That’s not to say we won’t be going back to the old fantasies, but, this time around, I hope you’ll give it a read and let me know what I got right or wrong.
